Hello,
I hope that you are well.
Just to inform everyone that we have taken the decision to cancel this evenings sessions due to the yellow weather warning that is in place for snow and ice.
It has been a close call if we where going to go ahead with the session, and whilst we think that we may get away with it before the worse weather comes, its only getting colder as the evening goes on, making for not the best of conditions during the sessions.
Plus we wanted to think about your commute in getting back home after the session too, in case the weather does worsen.
We hope to see you all next week in hopefully, much nicer conditions! Stay safe out there!
If you have any further comments, questions or queries on anything at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Myself and the coaching team look forward to seeing you at a future Cleveland Wheelers Youth Session!
Thanks & regards,
Josef George

CWCC “Hilly 21” 2024
The latest running of the “Hilly 21” took place on Sunday 24th March. We were blessed with decent weather, light wind and no unforeseen roadworks or blockages on the course, which is always nice.
Congratulations to Cleveland Wheelers’ very own Toby Tanfield who came home in first place overall this year with a very decent time of 45:37, beating Marcel Schubert (Darlington CC) and Toby Simpson (Team Bottrill) into second place & third places respecively.
The road bike contest was even more hotly contended with Ross Turner (Leadout Performance) beating Rob Carter (Cleveland Wheelers) by just two seconds, the top three being completed by Adam Pincder of Teesdale CRC.
The Female contest was won by Kate Sanderson (Cleveland Wheelers) ahead of Annabel Sill (Cleveland Wheelers) and Deborah Jeffries (Manilla).
There were strong showings in the Junior/Youth section too with Daniel Thompson (Cleveland Wheelers) leading home Elliot Holt (Fietsen Tempo) and Lewis Maynard (Cleveland Wheelers).
Finally, Stephen Newton and Anthony Harrison (Stockton Wheelers) romped home in the Tandem contest.
Many thanks to everyone who entered, and to the timekeepers, marshals, organisers, photographer, kitchen staff and other helpers who all made it another successful event.
