Cleveland Wheelers Castleton 50 Challenge
SUMMARY
When: See the Ride Programme
Distance: 50 miles, 3350 ft of climbing. 4 hours cut off time.
Entry Fee: This event has been designated a charity ride and we are asking for a donation of at least £5. The charities we are collecting for are MIND and Cancer Research.
Start: High Green Car Park, Great Ayton
Route: Sports Village, Ormesby Bank, Nunthorpe Village, Great Ayton, Easby, Ingleby Greenhow, Clay Bank, Chop Gate, Bilsdale, Helmsley, Kirbymoorside, Hutton le Hole, Blakey Ridge, Castleton
Finish: Castleton Village Hall, YO21 2EE. The Village Hall is opposite the Co-op.
Signing Off Sheet: In the Village Hall.
NOTE
- Anyone is welcome to enter this ride on the understanding that they do so at their own risk. Please be aware, however, it is not a Sportive. There is no mechanical backup, there are no waymarks on the course nor are there any refreshment stations. Riders need to be familiar with the route, carry their own food and drink and be able to deal with any mechanical problems arising.
