Words Of Praise

We would appreciate it if you will pass on our thanks to your members. Members of our bridleways group regularly ride in Nunthorpe Village and Great Ayton areas, they frequently meet cyclists bearing your club colours who are always courteous to our members warning them of their approach from the rear so as not to spook their horses.

It is really good to receive feedback from horse riders in this respect and we Thank all your cyclists for their efforts and courtesy.

Proof that we can all use the roads together with respect for each other.

North Hambleton Bridleway Group

CWCC welcomes this praise and encourages its members to always behave in a courteous and civilised manner whilst out on rides.

Tour de Yorkshire Bike Painting

Calling all Nunthorpe residents or club members living in and around Nunthorpe.

You know those cute little blue & yellow bikes you see around the area, hung on walls or propped against trees. Like this one in Stokesley…

Yellow Bike
TdY Bike At Stokesley

Well how would you like to paint one? Or better still, how would your kids like to paint one? Nunthorpe council are looking for volunteers, young & old, to paint some bikes for the Tour de Yorkshire. They will provide (and drop off) the bikes and the paint and leave you to it!

If you’d like to get involved email councillor Lesley McGloin at Lesleymcgloin@aol.com

If you do paint a bike (or bikes) take some photos of the work in progress and send them to us for this page.
