Hi wheelers, just a final reminder that the club 18 mile Spoco time trial / 2 laps of Battersby circuit organised by Keith Alderson is on the 20th of April. So anyone who still wishes to enter will have to get there entry in over the next few days. I’m not sure when entry closes but would imagine it’s Tuesday. It’s came around rather quickly following the hilly 21. see cycling time trials website for details. Cheers, Dave Kirton

Monday Prissick / Tuesday Ayton
Hi wheelers. The plans for this week. Prissick adult training session will be on Monday 7.30pm till 9. £3. We hope to keep this running on alternate weeks after this Monday as the kids legue 2000 starts the week after on the 14th and every other week after that.
The Tuesday night mixed ability social / training ride will be as normal meeting at 6pm at Ayton tourist info car park for 6.10 set off. We will continue with the Easby loops for a few more weeks before starting the commondale bus stop run! Enjoy your riding.

Brian Bevis on the mend!
Hi Wheelers, I have been to see Brian tonight and he’s well on with recovering after his accident in Ayton nearly 2 weeks ago. Hes back at home and walking about o.k although still a bit bruised and battered and his back hurts. He has asked me to pass on his thanks for all the kind get well messages and cards. I have given him a new Cleveland wheelers cap as a present ( although it’s a dodgy purple colour). By the looks of him I’m sure he will be back in action soon and he seems in good spirits although he still can’t remember the accident.

Hi wheelers. Well the light nights are here! We were going to see if we could get an extension for a couple of weeks down the track on Monday nights as it has proved so popular. But I haven’t heard anything back. So I’m going to revert to plan A and start this Tuesday with the mixed ability social/training nights. Meet at Ayton tourist info car park 6pm for 6.10 set off. For those who didn’t do it last year we pick small local loops so we can regroup at the end to ride back. So it fits in with all abilities and training needs (plus the social bit!) bring flashing lights the first few weeks as it will be getting dark when we head back in. If I hear any news about Prissick Mondays I will let you all know. See you all there. Dave k
Hi all. It’s the last Monday night race training at Prissick for now. The clocks go forward the following Sunday so we will be reverting to on the road activities after that. Please get there for 7.15 ish if possible. I will hopefully make it myself this week and ride as well.
The following week on Tuesday night Marcus smith will be leading a chain gang of some description ( hard training)
I will be leading social/training rides meeting at Ayton at 6pm. (Mixed ability) I’m afraid they’re both going to be Tuesday nights but there’s nothing we can do about that unless someone wants to organise a Monday training session? Hopefully though there will be something for everyone.
Thanks, Dave Kirton
