We’ve just been given the funeral arrangements for Phyllis Urwin.
Phyllis’s funeral service will take place at 10:30am on Friday, 29th October in St Clare’s RC Church, Low Lane, Middlesbrough, prior to cremation in the chapel of St Hilda at Teesside Crematorium.
Family and friends please meet at the church. Flowers or donations in lieu if so desired to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Nine riders successfully completed the Rough Stuff Challenge. A special mention goes to Anthony Jaszczak, who at ten years old, is one of the youngest finishers we’ve had in these events.
Anthony Moy, however, was reported as being missing in action.
The full list of finishers and e-certificates can be found here.
We’ve just been given the sad news that Phyllis Urwin, one of the founder members of Cleveland Wheelers, has died.
We don’t know any further details at the moment.
We have an agreement with Zwift to run a race series. Initially it will be a four week trial starting in November and we’re making those four weeks into a tournament.
If we get a good turn out Zwift will consider making it a regular event.
Individuals and riders from all clubs are welcome to take part, please pass on the news and let’s try get as many involved as possible.
Interested in taking part? Join the Facebook group and take a shufty at the race manual.
See you in the pens!
