Cleveland wheelers 100 in 8 challenge ride. Sunday July 24th, 9am, Ayton

Hi wheelers. It’s all go with the challenge rides this year, after squeezing in the revamped 150/12 recently, we’re now on to the 100 in 8 challenge ride next Sunday, 24th July, 9am prompt depart from Ayton tourist info car park, finishing at fletchers farm. Iv listened to the feedback from members and I’m aware that last years new route wasn’t popular, and not being afraid to change things and fiddle around with routes Iv reverted back to something similar to the old old route, pre 2012, Richmond, Grinton, Layburn, masham and back via an osmotherly loop to round up the miles. It’s not an overly difficult route as the idea of the 100/8 is to lure any riders in that may not have attempted 100 miles before. Riders are fine to go it alone or in their small groups, however the usual steady, medium and fast groups will be provided if riders would prefer to ride it club run style.
