It is a great honour and privilege to announce that one of our youth/junior riders, who has progressed through our ranks, has now been selected for the Great Britain Cycling Team (GBCT) World Class Programme (WCP) as part of the Men’s Endurance Olympic Development Squad (ODS)!
Fresh from his first senior national track championships at the weekend, comes this unbelievable news. Daniel mixed it up with the big boys at the weekend and although there are no results to write home about, it was an exceptional performance and it was the way that he held himself and went about his business – leaving it all on the track
From rubbing shoulders with Olympians, European and World championship riders and medallists amongst others, well done Daniel! You have done yourself, your family and friends and your club proud!
We look forward to welcoming you all back to our coaching sessions next Monday, 3rd February, kicking off our 2025 season. We have an exciting calendar of events to put on for you all this year.
This is the first of many announcements. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post and letting everyone know about us!
Further information is below –
Youth Coaching – 6pm – 7pm (beginners and young riders) / 6pm – 730pm (advanced and older riders) at the cycle circuit at Middlesbrough Sports Village. It is £3 per rider, per session. Everyone is welcome to join us, regardless of club, ability and equipment
Adult & Advanced Youth Coaching – 730pm – 830pm at the cycle circuit at Middlesbrough Sports Village. These sessions are £4 per rider, per session. Last week, on 11 December, we held our annual Christmas Party & End of Year Awards Night for 2024.
It was a great evening which was well attended by our youth cohort, celebrating all of their achievements made throughout the year at our youth training sessions. With lots of fun and games, refreshments and a surprise by a certain someone who had a gift for everyone in attendance.
