Time trial events, news and results.
Don’t forget it’s the club’s annual Christmas Day time trial on the 25th. First rider off at 11:00 am. The start and finish is adjacent to the lay-by just north of the village of Newton under Roseberry (TS9). The course is about 9.5 miles in length.
Entry on the line – £3. All money collected will go to the Great North Air Ambulance in memory of Steve Binks.

Many thanks to Brian Gleeson for his photographs of today’s action on Clay Bank and at the prize presentation afterwards. He managed to get most of the riders but unfortunately he did miss a couple when his camera didn’t focus properly.

The early evening downpour didn’t put too many people off with a total of 19 riders starting.
The fastest on the night was Ross Turner with a 6:15 while Laren Watson was the fastest lady with 8:28.
That’s the last of this year’s series, don’t forget it’s the CWCC Open Hill Climb on 22 September.

The fastest time of the night was set by Richard Jones (Ribble Pro Cycling) with a 6:11 just edging out Richard Lilleker by two seconds.
The fastest lady was Sophie Lankford with a 7:28.
