Just a reminder that entries close soon for the CWCC Open Hillclimb up “the steep side of Clay”. Always a fun morning out, the event usually attracts a good field (the reigning national champion attended last year) and a good crowd with a great atmosphere at the top.
Equal prizes for male and female, supported by kind sponsorship from Contemporary Stokesley, and including two fine shields donated by Fietsen Tempo for the fastest male & female from local-based clubs.

Here’s the timekeeper’s sheet for week 1 of the hill climb series.

Evening Hillclimb Series
We have 3 weeks of hillclimbs coming up. These are on Thursday evenings, first off at 6.30pm. Sign-on is at the car park at the top of clay bank (yes, you have to go up to go down to go up again). This week is up the long side (from Great Broughton direction), the following two are up the steep side (from Ingleby Greenhowe direction).
The usual rules apply, though there are no separate categories for road and TT. Hills are a great leveller (see what I did there?)
