Just a reminder that this Sunday, 22 March, is the CWCC Northallerton 50 Challenge Ride from Marton shops. It starts at 9:00 am and there’s an entry fee of £1. You don’t have to be a club member to ride, it’s open to everyone.

A reminder that it’s the CTC Hardriders 50 miles in 4 hours Tourist Trial on Sunday, 8 February 2015. It starts at 9:00 am from Marton Shops (TS7 8DX). The route goes via Stokesley, Great Broughton, Clay Bank, Bilsdale, Newgate Bank, Helmsley, up to Sutton Bank (“the graveyard”), Thirsk, Northallerton to finish on the green at Brompton.

There’s a nominal entry fee and certificates to riders who complete the event within the time limit.

Just a reminder that this weekend is the Castleton 50 Challenge Ride. It starts at 9:00 from Marton Crossroads, Stewart Park and finishes at Castleton Tea Rooms. Full details are on the website

Hi all, just a reminder that a week on Sunday it’s the wheelers 100 challenge ride. Departing from Marton shops at 9am, cost £1. So please turn up 15 mins earlier to sign on. Route details are all on the web site but essentially it’s Yarm, croft, Barton, Melsomby, Barnard Castle, the Stang, Reeth, Grinton moor, Layburn, Scorton, East cowtown, Hutton Rudby, finish at Stokeseley outside chapters. 8hr cut off. All welcome, we will let this split in to ability groups as it goes however I will be leading a steady group around and last year we all stayed together.
