This year the event was run as a charity event for MIND and CANCER RESEARCH.
50 signed up to take part on a cold and blustery morning from MSV heading to Castleton. Cleveland Wheelers ran its own café in the village hall, thanks go to Tracy Wood and Pat Cole for their help and to everyone who produced cakes. It is pleasing to report that £447 was raised and will be split between both charities.

The CWCC AGM will be held on Wednesday 18th September at 7.30pm. The venue is as usual St. Joseph’s RC Church Hall on Tanton Road. Everyone is free to attend what is always a fun-filled evening.

League 2000 continues as strong as ever. This week saw the latest round of the current season and we were blessed with lovely weather, though with a tough breeze down the home straight. Here is a brief photo presentation of the various aspects of League 2000 and at the end is a link to the full photo album of almost 250 action shots. The Skills Test
This was tricky on the night with the wind constantly blowing the cones around keeping organisers and competitors on their toes.
Again, the wind made for difficult TT efforts, the riders getting a flyer down the back straight but then riding into a gale uphill in the finishing straight.
On-track rivalries are always put aside and L2K is a great chance for the kids to meet up with their like-minded friends.
It’s game-face on for both riders and pusher-offers as the road races begin…
