In the tradition of the Carry On films you could be excused for thinking this will be a bunch of laughs. Sadly no. This won’t make you laugh, it may even make you cry. Intrigued? Then read Paul Christon’s flyer.

“Two Grandads & an Alien cycle from Hungary to Home – Kindle Book.” The sub-title of the book is “Three over-60 year old men cycle over 1450 miles from Budapest through Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands, and past Lake Balaton, Lake Worthersee and Lake Constance.

Tour de Yorkshire
Middlesbrough is gearing up for the visit of the Tour de Yorkshire to the town on Sunday, 1 May. There’s a lot of information to be found on the Middlesbrough Council website which also has a downloadable leaflet.
Further details of the Cleveland Wheelers’ sponsored events will appear here shortly.
Please find below an introduction to the North East Road Youth League (RYL) for 2016.
The RYL has been revamped this year to bring a fresh approach to youth cycling, focusing on skills, not just racing. This league provides a stepping stone between Go-Ride grass roots races and National Youth races. Without your support in hosting these races, our region’s talented riders may be overlooked when National organisers have to select riders onto limited places. You all play a valuable role in providing our youth riders with much needed racing experience, hopefully leading onto the national scene and beyond. At the very least, it provides a great deal of development and fun to a large community of young talented athletes in the North East.
The programme of events can be found here.
