Hi wheelers. For this Sundays club run we are going to try and get the 3 groups to regroup at chapters,Stokesley for aprox 12.30 for Christmas cafe stop. For this reason Andy Curson who is going to lead the fast group has asked that the fast group starts at 9am to allow a 3hr 30 ride he has planned. The other groups will remain the same times. Steady group 09.30 and medium group 10am, Ayton tourist info car park. The sat steady group will also be on as normal at 10.30. See you all there. Thanks, Dave k

A lot of us struggle to fit in our cycle training during the winter months.

In January new cycle classes are being run by a firm called WattCycle .co.uk.

We have negotiating the possibility of our members going to one of these sessions as a group to make the session less expensive.

To begin with their Performance Coach will lead the session but it will be possible for own coaches to take over doing this once we get established.

We were thinking that Thursday would be a good night to do this ? The venue is on Thornaby Industrial Estate.

If you are interested in joining in with this could you either reply to my email or speak to Tony Main our lead coach. There will be only places for 9 people in each class so reply as soon as possible if you are interested.

Hi Wheelers. There still seems to be a lot of people that haven’t yet renewed their membership for 2015. You all need to get your £10 membership subs to me before the Kirton closes! On Nov 30th if you wish to secure your place with the Cleveland wheelers for 2015.
Thanks to all those who have renewed already, and please ignore this message if you joined the club after July 1st this year. I also need to know from parents if their children will be staying with the club next year.

I’m out on club runs Saturday and Sunday this weekend if people wish to pay there. I will also be at Prisick for the Monday night training session.

Hi club runners. This week it’s the clay bank hill climb so there’s nothing planned. Some people have asked to start early to go and spectate on route. So please turn up at Ayton ready for a 9.30 roll out this week. It’s a make it up yourself week via clay bank. But please! please! make sure you split it in to a couple of ability groups. Those that offered to be ride leaders can still sort groups, they just can’t be seen to lead groups until we get clarification as to were we stand with organised rides. P.s there are 21 Cleveland wheelers out of a field of 42 riders so an impressive wheelers turn out so come and give us all a good shout. I’m off last but one, number 44 getting chased down by last man rob carter! See if I can make the last corner before he catches me? Cheers, Dave k

Hi all. Well where’s the year gone? I’m afraid due to the nights drawing in were going to have to call this Tuesday the last evening club run for this year ;-(. Meeting as usual at the tourist info car park at 6pm for 6.10 set off. All welcome. To round it off we are just going to do a short blast up as far as Percy rig crossroads at the top of kildale. Possible the next hill after that as well for the climbers. Then dash back to regroup at the Buck in Ayton at 7pm for a quick social drink. Flashing lights required as sunset will be 7.29. If you want extra miles then try and do a ride before hand. It’s not all doom and gloom though. Marcus smith will be starting the Monday Prisick nights in October. I mite also run some night rides In the country lanes for those with big lights, I just don’t want to commit to a weekly activity that’s all.
