Hi all. Tuesday night club run meeting as usual Ayton tourist info car park at 6pm for 6.10 set off. All welcome. A slightly different plan this week but it depends on the weather and also someone willing to lead a steady group as it’s not the usual out and back, short loops or repeats.
The plan is main group ride out Ingleby, Broughton, Carlton, Carlton bank, Chop Gate, Clay, Ingleby, Battersby, Kildale, left to Kildale station, loop around Gribdale ( gated road but apparently resurfaced) descend back to Ayton, regroup at the Buck.

Steady eddies to do a loop around Carlton, faceby, back to Broughton, up Clay bank and back to Ayton. (Kildale gribdale optional)

Also option for a fast flat group. See who turns up.

Blakey ridge 25 mile mountain time trial. 9am Sunday 12th July.

Hi wheelers. Sorry it’s very late notice but the official cut off date for the Blakey ridge 25 mile mountain TT was this Tuesday. Event organiser Shaun Joughin has been away on holiday and isn’t back till later this week. However due to the oversight he has said if anyone still wishes to ride? Hi all. Tuesday night club run meeting as usual Ayton tourist info car park at 6pm for 6.10 set off. The weathers at last looking fantastic for the meet up back at the Buck afterwards. Lots of ride options this week. I will take the main mixed ability group to do the 3 sides of clay bank repeats. This has been requested by Shaun O’Sheas who is going to be off the bike for a few weeks after this for his knee opp. Steve Tilly is looking at leading a medium paced club run over towards east Cleveland somewhere, and there will also probably be the usual option of a faster chain gang around the country lanes. All regrouping outside the Buck aprox 7.45pm for refreshments!

Hi wheelers. Tuesday night club run on as normal, meeting at Ayton tourist info car park at 6pm for 6.10 set off, all welcome. Apols the post is out late this week, it’s been a busy weekend. Weathers looking good this week for the pub stop afterwards. So how about some 3 sides of Clay bank repeats as I know how much you all love them? Ride out steady in ability groups to Easby, Ingleby, towards Broughton then left and head up the steep side of clay bank. Descend left down towards Chop Gate, turn around with caution! at farm entrance on right a few hundred meters past the bottom, then climb back up and descend long side towards broughton. Turn around with caution at the white gate farm track entrance on the right. Climb the long side, then repeat as many times as you wish? Or spectate at the top. Will regroup and head back about 7.15-7.30ish. I won’t be there again this week ;-(. Late shift I’m afraid. So please try and ensure a steady group forms in the car park if necessary rather than trying to exhausts the steady riders before they even reach the climbs. Have a good ride.
