Monday training session will be on as normal 7.30pm till 9. Please try and get there for about 7.15 so we can collect in your £3 for track hire. I’m just looking at my diary and there will be one more Monday night after this. So the 17th and 24th march. After that the light nights arrive. Marcus smith will be organising a chain gang Tuesdays and I will be organising the mixed ability training loops around Easby on Mondays or Tuesdays. Haven’t decided what night yet but don’t I think there’s many that would do both so it shouldn’t be a problem. More details to follow. Thanks, Dave Kirton
Hi all. Sorry the info is out late this week. Tonight’s training will be on as usual 7.30 till 9pm. Cost £3 for track hire. Marcus smith is away at a British cycling meeting and I’m at work, however Alex Bottomly and Richard Meadows have kindly agreed to stand in as guest coaches to run the session so please go easy on them! Get there for 7.15ish if you can so they can collect you £3 and get started for 7.30. Dave Kirton
Monday Prissick adult training session on as normal tonight. Please get there for 7.15pm so that we can be ready to get straight on the track after the kids training at 7.30. Mixed ability training. All welcome.
all looking good for Mondays training session. 8deg, dry and 10mph wind. Please try and be there for 7.15pm so we can get you signed on and relieve you of your £3 for the track hire. Marcus smith and Alex bottomly will be drilling us again. It’s a mixed ability night and none wheelers members are all welcome so come down and give it a go. See you
Sorry it’s late notice, as things often are with the Cleveland Wheelers! Due to popular demand I have made arrangements for the Monday night Prissick adult training sessions to resume this Monday 20th January and continue on through till 24th March.
These will be mixed ability training sessions, we will probably up the pace a bit from the group ride skills we were doing last year but we will keep ability groups so don’t be put off coming down to join in. The sessions will be 7.30 till 9 pm following the kids training. Cost will remain at £3. If you can all try and get there for 7.15pm so that we can get you signed in and get straight on the track for 7.30 to maximise the time.
Marcus Smith will be running most of the sessions with myself and Graeme Tate making the occasional appearance plus Michelle Roberts, work depending, and guest appearances from John Kelly junior who is extremely good at shouting at us all to order!
Once the light nights arrive we can revert back to the Tuesday night runs from Great Ayton starting 1st April. As always keep an eye on the Wheelers Facebook page for weekly updates and cancellations due to weather.
