Tuesday night training run
All ability training run from Great Ayton Tourist Information car park. Meet at 6:00 pm for a 6:10 off.
This week, by popular request, we’re going to do some more hills. It’s the old favourite – Commondale stone bus shelter and back.
Drink in the Buck at Ayton after the ride.
Hi all. Tuesday night mixed ability ride on as usually. Meeting at Ayton tourist info car park at 6pm for 6.10 set off. All welcome.
I think everyone has had enough of hills this week so we will do some easby (easy) loops! Will ride the wrong way round the course as well (clockwise) as this takes some speed out of the corners and makes it easier to regroup at the Duddly arms. There’s a lot of fast moving wide tractors on the lanes that’s all. Cheers, see you all there. Dave k
Hi all. I think this week we will keep it simple and do easby loops after a couple of weeks of clay bank and midgy bites! Might try running it in the other direction though (clockwise) to help us regroup at the duddly arms and to take some speed out on the dodgy bends. Meet 6pm as normal for 6.10 set off, Ayton tourist info car park. All welcome. Steady one lap round for any new riders before I release the clamp! See you all there. Dave k
Meeting at Ayton tourist info car park at 6pm for 6.10 set of as usual. All welcome. This Tuesday we can do the clay bank merry-go-round. Steady ride out to Ingleby, then climb steep side of clay, turn left, descend and climb chop gate side, carry straight on over to descend and climb clay bank long side, then turn left to descend and climb steep side again. A bit like a T shape! As many or few laps as you wish. Or simply sit it out at the top and watch the fun. Only word of warning is please be carefull turning around in the road at the bottom of each climb. Chop gate side particularly hasn’t much sighting distance so take care. Anyone fancy the buck at Ayton afterwards? Dave k
