Mike Binks Memorial Road Race
The Mike Binks Memorial Road Race for E/1/2/3 riders will be held on the Maltby circuit on Sunday, 17 August 2014. Further details are on the website under Competition/Club Open Events/Details
Aaron Preston
Aaron Preston has been selected by British Cycling to ride in the Youth Tour of Scotland which takes place from 5th to 8th April.
Aaron will be part of a four man team representing the North East.
This is a Category A (U16) event and Aaron, who’s a Category B (U14) has been granted a dispensation to ride up a category based on his 2013 results.

Velo 29 Winter Series Round 3 (Results)
The final round of the Velo 29 Winter Series was held at Croft on Saturday, 15 February.
The CWCC placings were as follows :-
- 5th – Ian Cowen @ 2 secs.
- 30th – Mick Storey @ 11 secs.
- 36th – Martin Brearey @ 1min 12 secs.
- 40th – Anth Moy @ 2 mins 12 secs.
- 58th – Richard Danks @ 1 lap.
A great result all round but especially for Ian Cowen as it meant that he tied for first place in the overall series. Congratulations Ian!
Charlie Tanfield tied for second place in the E/1/2/3/4 overall.
