Hi all, I’m afraid it looks almost ceratain that the hilly 21 TT this Sunday will have to be shortened slightly due to emergency water works on Stonestoop Hill just after the right hand turn at the T junction Ingleby Greenhow. This means the course will now turn left and go directly to easby, then left resuming the normal course. Original course is 20.2 miles. Amended course is coming out at 18.6 and minus the hill of course. Apols for this but at least we still have an event.

Hi wheelers. I realise that many of you are keen to get some dates in your diaries. So here is the list of club open time trial events, challenge rides and themed rides. I have only included dates for wheelers events this year as the overall list of events in the area is to long to list now. Please keep an eye out on the website or face book for further details near the time. Some of the challenge ride routes and dates are still to be updated on the website but it’s a work in progress as we have revamped some of the routes this year. Changes include a 3rd even harder mountain challenge route plus a “carry on up the caper” ride! All will be revealed shortly. I’m sure you are all licking your lips and eager to get training for these events. Further info to follow, cheers, Dave

Hi club runners. Just to let you know club runs on as normal on Sunday 27th. Usual groups. 9.30 for medium and fast groups. 10am for steady eddies. Hi wheelers. Last call please for membership renewals before I cross people off next week. Deadline for renewals is 30Nov. Please see the payment details below. Thanks again to all those who have renewed so far. Still around 80 members outstanding. Please just let me know if you don’t wish to rejoin. Thanks, Dave k
The online payment is the preferred option. It’s easier for me, and easier for you. Just follow the link below to renew. Just to note that the SES system dose not recognise existing members unfortunately so please just complete all the fields as if you are a new member regardless of how long you have been with the club. The system is just a means of payment, plus we can keep your details updated at the same time. ( please note there is an SES admin charge of 60p )

Anyone who still wishes to pay by cash or cheque I will be able to take payment at club runs and various other Cleveland wheelers wheelers venues, or simply stick it through my door with a note.
Renewal fee is £10 adults, £5 juniors 16/17 years old. Free for under 16s
You can also pay by cheque made payable to Cleveland Wheelers and post it through my door. 6 Glendue close, Nunthorpe, Middlesborough, TS70QN. If your posting cheques then please check with me that it has arrived as they have a habit of going missing in the post! I’m not taking bank transfers or PayPal this year as we have the online system in place and things become to complicated.
For under 16s I just need to know that juveniles will be staying with the club. No need to fill out any forms again. To be fair, most parents have already informed me as to what their children are doing next year so that list is almost complete.
For anyone who isn’t planning on rejoining the club, please just let me know. It’s much easier that way.
Please disregard this e mail if your an over 70s life member, honorary member, have paid recently or you joined the club on or after July 1st of this year. Any questions regarding your membership status then please just let me knowl
Thanks, Dave k
