League 2000 – 2023

Hello everyone,

I can proudly announce that the 26th edition of the League 2000 is open for entries for 2023!

Thank you all for bearing with us whilst we worked out and find tuned the system for this season. I’m sure that you will all agree that it is well worth the wait to enter this very prestigious youth racing league as it is a brilliant introduction into youth racing. Having these 12 rounds on again this year really does bulk our youth racing in the North East region, so we hope to see as many of you as possible enter this year!

For this season, we have a much simpler and easy method to enter. A onetime registration form (per child) and done. Once this has been filled in, all you need to do is turn up at any of the 12 rounds to take part in any of the events. Each round is still £5, the best value for money for a racing event.

You must have registered for the League 2000 prior to round 1, please do not turn up without having registered and expect to ride. It only takes a couple of minutes to fill in, so please consider this prior to attending any rounds, especially round 1.

More information can be found at and navigate your way to the League 2000 tab, hover over this to see the various drop-down menus for your information, such as our Team of Officials, Code of Conduct and Calendar of Events. All are just as important as the other, so please familiarise yourself with all information before you register and attend.

To register, locate the Registration page and follow the information accordingly. For a short cut, the link is here –

Also new for 2023, we have overhauled and updated the trophies with more categories for prizes as well. We have a lot more up for grab to be won. Prize money per rounds will remain the same. More information will be provided on this throughout the series as well as at the prize presentation towards the end of the year. Watch this space for more information on awards.

Myself and the League 2000 Team hope to see as many of you as possible racing this season and we look forward to welcoming you all down at the Cycle Circuit at Middlesbrough Sports Village for round 1 for what will be an excellent year of racing at the League 2000.

If you require anything further, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Thanks & regards,

Josef George
