Not many people fancied the idea of riding a two lapper tonight. We only had 15 people sign on and then one of them became a DNS when Roger Davies realised he’d forgotten an important piece of cycling equipment- namely his bike. I suppose we can forgive him however as a unicycle isn’t as visually imposing as its two wheeled brother.
Anyway, at the end of the night Richard Lilleker had posted the fastest time with a 40:51 with Ella Towers taking the honours for the ladies with a 50:06.

Richard Lilleker was the fastest on the night with Kate Sanderson the first lady.
Special mention to Roger Davies who left his penny farthing at home tonight and instead rode on his unicycle, complete with disc brake and tri bars!

This was the second leg of the inter-club competition with Stockton Wheelers held on the Seamer course.
Richard Lilleker and the two young guns, Ross Turner and Euan Sanderson, posted good times but will they be enough for us to retain the trophy?
