The final standings for this year’s Evening Series are now available.

And the winners are…..

A windy night saw Richard Lilleker coming home fastest with Ella Towers taking the honours for the ladies. Mark Campbell’s new rig helped him pip Stephen Belbin for second place.

Spare a thought for Richard Farrel, he missed the turn onto Middleton Lane and was halfway to Yarm before he realised his error. Still managed a 30:56 though.

Next week the action moves to Clay Bank for the first of a series of four hill climbs. More information can be found here.

Ross Turner was quickest tonight with Paige the fastest lady.  Ian Hutchinson’s comeback is well underway and Dave Smith continues to improve.

This was a two lap event but several riders decided to do only one. Richard Lilleker was fastest with a 41:07, Ella Towers was fastest lady with a 52:05 and Gavin Chatto took two minutes off his PB.

Tonight we had the same top two as last week, but this time it was Richard Lilleker’s turn post the fastest time, 19:49 compared to Toby Tanfield’s 19:57. Ella Towers was once again fastest lady. Most improved rider was Dave Smith.

Roger Davies, for a change,  turned up on a TT bike and did a none too shabby 22:18.

Perhaps the weather forecast put people off as there were only 16 starters.
