CWCC Hill Climb Week 3 – 5 Sept 2019

The fastest time of the night was set by Richard Jones (Ribble Pro Cycling) with a 6:11 just edging out Richard Lilleker by two seconds.

The fastest lady was Sophie Lankford with a 7:28.

Next week is the last event of the series.

CWCC Hill Climb Week 2 – 29 Aug 2019

There was a decent turnout for tonight’s event with 29 riders taking part.

There was a tussle for first place with Richard Lilleker edging out Ross Turner by one second, 6:16 to 6:17.

Boompods’ rider Hannah Farran took the honours for the ladlies with a super fast 7:12.

Cameron Turner rode fixed.

Evening Series Week 16 – 15 Aug 2019

Only one rider broke the 20 minute barrier tonight. That was Richard Lilleker with a 19:54. Fastest lady was Annabel Sill in 24:41.

This was the last event of this year’s Evening Series Time Trials. For the next four Thursdays we are on Clay Bank for a short series of Hill Climbs.

Evening Series Week 15 – 8 Aug 2019

Well, Harry Tanfield turned up and went and smashed the course record with a time of 17:22. That’s over 20 seconds off the previous best time held by brother Charlie. This is after a solid season on the road with not much time trialling!

The first lady was Annabel Sill with a 24:17.

Next week is the last event of the Time Trial Series. The action then moves to Clay Bank for a series of hill climbs on the four subsequent weeks.
