This was the second leg of the inter-club competition with Stockton Wheelers held on the Seamer course.

Richard Lilleker and the two young guns, Ross Turner and Euan Sanderson, posted good times but will they be enough for us to retain the trophy?

I’ve just been along Middleton Road (that’s the left turn after the turbines leading to Hutton Rudby). Contractors were about to start using gravel to resurface the last half mile or so before Rudby. They were expecting to finish this afternoon  (10 June).

So no PBs on Thursday then.

This was a two lapper with Richard Lilleker posting the fastest time, Angela Ackerley was the first lady. Ross Turner put in a 19:45 over a single lap, Roger Davies was a bit slower but then again he was riding a penny farthing.

David Cole posted the best time of the night with a 20:07, just beating Richard Lilleker by four seconds.
