Just a few notes for those riding. It appears a bus has crashed over the bridge at Grosmont and the road is fully closed off, this prevents us getting over to the footbridge and on to the minor road that leads up to the stape road. So I’m going to suggest we continue on the Whitby road, instead of turning left to Slights, continue on and take the next left to Aisleby, Egton top, Egton and then climb key green which rejoins the route on the stape road.
