Mick Storey

Mick Storey joined the Cleveland Wheelers last year and I think he won’t mind me saying that he was a bit rough round the edges. Really quickly though he started slimming down and was a regularly on the Sunday club runs and other events and soon started showing his nose at the front of the group and challenging other members for Strava segments. Mick is known for putting everything into his rides and has so acquired the   nick name of “Dig deep” Storey, and it is so deserved. Mick’s enthusiasm is easy to see and he loves riding his bike and having a laugh with other members.

Mick’s biggest achievement in 2013 was to ride the C2C2C solo, the pouring rain and one of the worst days of the year.

Climbing and bad breath.
